First things first ...vote in the previous posts' poll. It will be live during class time. I checked today - after I sent a text out to check the blog, only one vote by Monday at 10:45am... disheartening...
"The plan for today"
1) finish presentations
2) hand in polished essays on dead trees. Sorry trees.
3) how to turn a .ppt into a Prezi ...and then an actual example ... unless the wireless kicks up a fuss...
4) Quick review of Cornell note taking idea for taking notes. And a demonstration of Dropbox... hopefully. Depends on the wireless.
5) "Using City of Burlington research tools” and "Research tools at Major Universities" - this will be on the screen - you will need to take notes, but I will publish it online later.
6)“How to use google” + online assignment. Due by the Tuesday Midnight. Questions on the next post, this time. Next time ... they'll be on Twitter...
7)start/continue to look at/researching your Shakespeare play and finding an electronic book to study for this course. Perhaps a short primer on how to do that through the BPL
For Wednesday:
a)Have some research posted on your blog about your play. If you need a reminder of which play is yours, let me know.
b)go to this link and poke around to see if the University you want to attend will have online content. If that just isn't you thing, check out Athabasca University and see if what they have appeals to you. Be ready on Wednesday to be able to talk/ write about what you saw and looked into with this.
